Tulse Hill nursery celebrates garden opening
Children at a nursery in Tulse Hill explored the great outdoors as they celebrated the opening of a new garden.
Staff and children at the Cherubins Day Nursery enjoyed bark rubbing, making dens, measuring plants and looking for insects in their completed forest garden last Wednesday.
The nursery provides care to children aged three months to five years old.
Nursery manager Janett Woodcote said: “The garden offers children opportunities to develop confidence and self-esteem through a hands-on learning experience. This is part of delivering the core curriculum.”
