Toddler room (Jasmine) 16 months- 2 years

In our toddler rooms (Jasmine and Saffron), we believe that children learn best in an environment that values learning through play. We encourage children to be independent autonomous learners through self-chosen activities. Children’s learning is also developed through adult led activities where children are encouraged to take part in activities in small groups with a practitioner. Children are always encouraged and motivated to learn through exploration and investigation in the outdoor and indoor areas; with a wide range of activities set out for the children, to develop their areas of learning, to help them reach their full potential. We recognise and value children’s differing needs and ensure that our observation, planning, and preparation of the learning environment. We have a large outdoor space, with areas for physical activities, imaginative and role play, quiet areas and areas where children can be creative using a variety of materials and building equipment.
